Oakley House - Telecom masts application - last chance to comment

A lease holder of Oakley House (Oakley Avenue, W5 3SB) has been in touch to highlight concerns about the proposed installation of 5G telecomms masts (and related material) on the roof of their building.

The application was made in July and the last day for comments from the public is today - 27th August 2020.

A number of residents that have very recently become aware of the application have objected on a number of grounds including prior structural problems with the roof, possible additional noise from cooling, appearance (adjacent to a conservation zone and visible from it) and the fact that this is Huawei equipment that would (presumably) have to be replaced in a relatively short time, because of the government position on them supplying 5G equipment, causing more local disruption.
